Overview
Sealing Compound is a grayish, natural latex-based product used for sealing metal can and ends. When cured, an elastic film is formed. Once the can body and the can end are properly seamed and tightened, the film acts as a sealing gasket to ensure the air tight of the container and to achieve long-term storage. The components used in this product meet the requirements of GB9685, and the dried film meets the standard of GB4806.11-2016. Therefore, after curing, this product is safe to be contacted with the food contents.
Due to the different types of lining equipment and the different size of the can ends, this product is further divided into various solid contents.
Packaging
Packaging is split into 2 options: 20kg pails / 220kg steel drums
Usage
1. For Equipment: single-head or multi-head automatic lining machine, orstamping type equipment, or manual lining.
2. Dispense locations: at curl of the can end.
Storage
1. Recommended storage temperature is between 7°C and 35°C. Freezer storage is not recommended, freezing the product may affect performance
2. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources
3. Users should adopt the First in, First out warehouse practice for this product
4. Finished product should avoid contact with oil-based & solvent-based material.
5. The shelf life is 9 months from the manufactured date under recommended conditions.
